Customer Review: Okay first of all, I’d just like to say that I am autistic, and I absolutely LOATHE mowing the lawn. The mower is too loud, the vibrating of the handle makes my arms go numb, and I can never quite pull on the cord hard enough to get it started by myself. I always have to find someone else to turn it on for me. And not to mention the fact that the smell of gasoline gives me a headache. So I finally decided to see if any old-fashioned mowers still existed, because I would much rather deal with something slower and time-consuming if it meant I wouldn’t have to deal with using a normal lawn mower. Customer Review: I had purchased a brill but had to send back due to defective handle. I researched all the newer type of reel mowers. First I should tell you we wanted a reel mower. We have a fairly small yard less than 500 ft/2 and the back is the same. Mostly landscape, flowers and various plants we really don’t need the big gas mower. WE had a very good Neuton battery mower for several years but it too finally gave up. We wanted to leave a smaller carbon footprint hence the manual reel mower. And the extra exercise is good too. Since our mower went out and we had a bit of a struggle getting the right mower our grass had grown a bit high. This afternoon we received the Fiskars mower in great condition packaged very well. Put it together requiring only a couple of tools. The Mower ran like glass, no sound other than the movement of the earth, the sky and the birds. Just kidding, but the mower is extremely quiet. Even the action of the no contact blades is unbelievably quiet. The mower due to the action of its wheels and the blade that spins quit fast compared to the motion of the wheels is really something to be experienced. I started to cut the front yard, then the wife took the mower and cut the rest of the yard and then went to the back yard. I got some sweet tea and sat down in the patio, work really fascinates me, I could watch it for hours. I took out the new Black and Decker cordless weed eater and had a blast with it. I am really sold on the new style reel mowers. This one is easy to push, quiet, cuts even over grown grass with just a bit more force, but if kept down , which we always do anyway, it will be an absolute joy to cut. One big difference I would like to mention here, is the reel mower actually cuts grass, like scissors at a much slower pace than rotary mowers. Lawn mowers beat the hell out of the grass bruising it and leaving frayed tips. This is an opening for disease and browning of the grass. I expect to have a greener lawn with less water usage, and less feeding. I will update this review as we use the mower and have more experience with the unit. Have had the mower for a bit now, and it is still going strong. We had quite a windy couple of months so there were lots of tree branchesand stuff on the ground but it cut it all like it was nothing. The blades are still sharp, wheels are still firm and the blade rotates with little effort. I have cleaned the mower a bit taking the grass stain off the blade. I did not realize the blade is so sharp. Be aware that you can and will cut out a chunk of skin of you don’t wear gloves. Had to have a few stitches. Of course my doctor laughed at me cause I am always hurting myself, and paying for his Cabo vacation. All in all the mower performed beyond expectations, will never go back to a power mower again. Customer Review: I’ve owned this model for about ten years now. Things I regard as positives – (1) It costs less than most quality gas or electric mowers. (2) Burn more calories cutting the grass. (3) It is environmentally friendly. (4) It costs much less to maintain compared to gas mowers – no need to purchase gas or oil. (5) This design seems to spin and generate more power than just my manual push, probably related to how they have the chain linked to the wheels to blades. (6) Lasted ten years before any part broke (7) Can direct the cut grass to be thrown front or back – I prefer front so it sort of gets that double cut into smaller pieces (not mulching though) (8) It has a pretty good cut on the grass, not as good as gas powered mowers if you are looking for that manicured, picture perfect lawn shown in real estate ads, BUT, cuts well for a functional, nice lawn. So over-all, the last ten years I’ve saved money, burned more calories, and helped the environment…, that’s a win, win, win.. 🙂 For negatives, which don’t really bother me, but could for others: (1)Takes longer to cut the grass than all powered mowers. (2) For a really nice cut, you need to cut one way, then turn around and cut the other way over the same space. (3) I have somewhat steep hills in my yard, and you will definitely get a workout, especially if the grass is thicker or taller. (4) In some case, similar to gas powered mowers which will clog with thick, tall, or wet grass, you’ll need to cut once at a raised blade setting, then again at the lower height. (5) You will need to muscle it to get through thicker grass, but I view that as a good workout. (6) It will not cut TALL grass, so you’ll need to weed whack those extra tall stragglers after you do the level cut for the full lawn. (7) Unlike gas powered mowers, you can’t just place it over a tight spot, such as a corner of a yard gate to cut the grass. You need movement to roll/cut the grass. Again, I need to weed whack a little more to cut grass in tight corners. I’m 55 and healthy, so I don’t mind a little extra muscle work and time in cutting the lawn, plus I’m frugal, so I don’t mind the negatives and really like the positives. BUT, if I was older, not steady on my feet, didn’t have the time (like I used to with my previous long commuting job), have a lot of hills in a much larger yard, or if I really wanted that perfectly manicured lawn in one mowing, then the negatives would weigh much heavier.

Customer Review: Anyone can put this together in less than 5 minutes. All’s needed is a fraction of upper body strength in order to snap on the handle bar assembly. No tools required besides your bare hands. Best Mower I have ever owned. Period. I no longer worry about an extension cord getting in the way, gas not keeping the thing oiled besides using wd40 to keep the rust off and things running smoothly. People suggest it’s a work out, well I say it’s equivalent to owning a rotary manual push lawn mower (The ones with a loud motor). Takes just as much force and energy! I have seen an 80 year old push Reel mowers easily.. If your Grass is so long use weed eater first then reel. Watch for rock as hitting one can knock the bed blade out of alignment but easily fixed. So far after my first cut it seems to be holding together! Someone said the tires are rubber but that’s not true more of a soft hard plastic but even in slight dry mud it maneuvered extremely well! I didn’t see a lot of people using the bag so I wanted to say the bag works great with some minor adjustments to the clip strap I was able to mow my entire yard by pushing the clipping to the back and filled the bag all the way to the top! My yard is large. Went through crab grass, weeds easily. Cut quality superb much better than any rotary! After I was done I wiped it down best I could, clean it and hit it with some wd40 including the blades. Highly recommended! By the way 1 reviewer said his stopped moving… Thats because you probably hit a rock and the blades are hitting the bed blade to much causing it to lock.. you need to actually read your manual there are 2 screws you need to find on the sides and make minor adjustment to fix that!

I’ve been using it for a few months now. Worth the price so far. To clean, I use a broom with long bristles like you would with a razor brush. Getting my hands close to the blades with a towel worries me. Probably could use a keyboard cleaner to blow out the grass in the tighter spaces. Moving forward, I would like to see a sturdy case sold to cover the blades for safe storage, wheels free of Prop 68 warning, some kind of conditioner for the metal to avoid squeaking and rust as the metals age, better instructions for setup, instructions and manual written by someone who has actually assembled and used this before, and a similar tool to get the grass on the edges of the lawn near borders.

Customer Review: I bought this to mow down grass and weeds in my backyard. The small collector makes for more stops to empty so if you want to stop less, might need a bigger collector. But for small jobs or big jobs with more stops, this mower is great. A little louder that I thought it would be because its electric, but not as loud as its gas powered counterparts. I have a super long extension cord that doesn’t really get in the way (no more than using a vacuum cleaner inside does). I would not deduct a star for the lack of battery, the cost is great, and you know you need power before purchasing. Overall this mower has worked great so far.

Customer Review: I bought this to mow my new installed Bermuda turf… (It’s hard to crank though… LOL!) it was extremely easy to assemble and the blades were sharp from the factory. I found it very addictive to mow with despite having an expensive Zero Turn mower and a new rotary mower. Obviously the noise level is much lower than a motorized mower and the gas savings are a plus. It is light weight which was perfect for my newly installed turf. I am mowing approximately 3200 sq ft around our house (I use my Zero Turn for the rest of my 3 acres). I have yet to have to sharpen the blades or to adjust the bed knife. IF it ever wears out, I would buy another one immediately!!! My wife is 5’2″ and barely 100 lbs and she has NO PROBLEM mowing with it… it is easy to push. When I finish mowing, I WD-40 the bed knife and then run the blades over it by pulling it along my concrete drive to distribute the WD-40 on all the blades. Great mower for the price!!!

Customer Review: Purchased this so the kids could mow a small section of the yard that’s fenced off and I can’t get the riding mower into. They love having a mower they can use themselves, and it does a great job cutting a variety of grasses (Bermuda, misc. local grasses, and even taller, thick St. Augustine) but it may take several passes in different directions for the most uniform final product. It is easy and smooth to push though, so that works out fine. Seems to stay sharp and when oiled regularly after use, and stays in great shape. The grass seems healthier and happier after being cut with this mower, and I love that the kids (11) can do it without my help. Great for use in a smaller space or yard – wouldn’t want to cut a half-acre or more with it (at least not of our thick mix of grasses and weeds), but is fantastic for our lush extended chicken run. Would highly recommend for someone who wants a quiet, conventional mower that doesn’t need fuel, will give you a healthier lawn, and will last a long time.

Customer Review: I like this mower very much. It does a wonderful job cutting delicate, newly grown rye grass, and the stiffer, and more robust weeds and feskew in our side yard. The cut from this mower is significantly more even and straighter than a power mower. There is a hypnotic effect from watching the blades rotate, while tossing up grass blades, nice a quietly. It does not kick up loads of dust when rolling over bare sections, which is very nice when it’s super hot out. the mower only weights about 15-20 pounds, so it’s very easy to push it up hill, or down hill, or over uneven and bumpy spaces. It is easy enough to push and I don’t think I could call it a “work out”. This mower completely takes the “chore” out of cutting the grass. Pulling out the big mower, filling the gas tank (and GETTING gas), priming the engine, and pulling to start the super loud piston engine. All that “prep” is gone. no need to psych yourself up to mow the lawn, so you can cut your grass regularly, to keep it looking good all the time. a slight down side is that the blades are approx 2-3 inches from the outside of the wheels, so plan on using an edge trimmer if there’s a wall, or a barrier adjacent to the grass. Initial assembly was simple, and occurred in 5-10 minutes max. You need not be a mechanical engineer to assemble this. Anyone will assemble this with ease, regardless of mechanical aptitude. I purchased and installed the matching catcher, that clips on to the sides and hangs from the handles. It took less than two minutes to assemble and install and works pretty well. It does not catch 100 percent of the clippings. Last evening, while cutting grass in the wind, some of the clippings blew away before landing in the catcher. The range of adjustability of blade height is also quite nice. You have three holes in the mower, to raise or lower the cutting height, and three other positions in the plastic fitting to raise or lower the cutting height for a good incremental range of height. You must use a wrench to unscrew the nut to position the bolt in the correct spot. It is not a quick lever adjustment like on many power mowers. But this thing costs less that 100 dollars. Despite this lack of quick adjustment, it’s still a fabulous mower, and a great value that provides a great result. I am very surprised that these manual, or “reel” mowers are not more popular, or mainstream. If I had a very large yard, I’d go for a larger 18-20-24 inch version, and still get the job done, quickly, quietly, and efficiently.

Customer Review: I haven’t had a mower of any kind in years, and I have had a couple like this — push reel mowers — in the distant past. This thing does work. Blades are sharp, and it is reasonably easy to push. It cuts. It won’t cut down foot-high (or 6-inch-high) grass. You need to get the overgrown parts in shape before and after you use this push mower. I used a scissors-style hedge trimmer to deal with the stragglers — this mower bends but doesn’t cut them. It’s not supposed to. If you keep up with the lawn and mow weekly, this machine is perfect. It’s quiet, needs no power (other than your own “push” power) and little maintenance. They say to oil it with WD-40, and I have a can ready for that. It’s the “American” Lawn Mower Company, but this thing is made in China. At this price, how could it not be? I recognize that an American-made mower, if one is really being made these days, would cost much more. I appreciate the affordability, and this thing is well-constructed. It goes together fairly easily with no tools. The instructions and diagrams (especially the diagrams) could be a lot better, but it’s pretty obvious how it goes together. They tell you to put soapy water on the handlebar grips so they slide on more easily. A nice hack, but they should have just done that at the factory, and better-quality grips would be welcome. These are just foam — not the greatest. tl;dr For the price, this delivers great value and does the job. I would buy again.

Customer Review: Like others, I needed to know the lowest measurement setting from the ground to the operating button with the mower attachment and trimmer in place. For some unknown reason, the community answers seemed to avoid such an easy question for those who owned one?! With that said, I just purchased my own to get that exact answer with a measuring tape. The LOWEST MOWER HEIGHT (from ground to button pressed): 22-1/2 inches. The HIGHEST MOWER HEIGHT (from ground to button pressed): 31-1/2 inches.**Due to my very own physical needs, the lowest height works perfectly for me! Fortunately, I did not have any of the ‘troubles’ that some have reported with theirs. If it works as it all did with my first use on a small yard today for even a season or two, I would definitely purchase again! Although it does kind of sound like a small shop vac in use, it is absolutely adorable and FUN for me to use. I love it!! It does look like a toy and is nearly identical to vacuuming (with both physical motions & width). So those that are impatient, hate vacuuming or want to look ‘manly’, may not appreciate this trimmer/mower like I already do. Did I mention that I I love this thing! 🙂 However, as not to wear down the thin and very narrow plastic lip that holds the trimmer into the mower attachment, I personally won’t be pressing the trimmer into the mower attachment until it “clicks” per the instructions. Instead, I simply press on the pedal and gently seat the trimmer all the way in before releasing the pedal to lock it in place. Noting again, that’s just my own suggested solution to hopefully prevent that thin plastic ‘lock’ from wearing down so easily, or as I see that it probably could otherwise. Further, the trimmer seems to hold in place just fine when pressing the trimmer handle down to make turns (just like placing the weight on the back wheels to turn a vacuum). To ‘lift up’ on the trimmer handle when mowing, is when it wants to detach from the mower –so don’t do that people lol. Just like every electric tool that I’ve ever owned, it does NOT come with an extension cord (and it makes me laugh that anyone would expect it to). However, since I wanted an extension cord designated just for this unit, I also purchased what did NOT work –and that was a 50 ft 16AWG Yellow HUANCHAIN brand through Amazon at the same time as well. To my disappointment and even trying to force it further into the plug hole, that extension cord does NOT and will NOT make a tight enough contact to fit but for ‘brief’ contact spurts. At first, that was a big GRRR there for me because the mower kept cutting out before I realized it was that extension cord that was barely making contact. Okaaay….**Instead though and most fortunate for me, I ended up using my older orange extension cord (that most of us have laying around) that has a slightly narrower plug encasement … which seats all the way into the plug for continuous contact well and fits perfectly tight! With my recent experience: If it feels slightly wobbly, kind of loose or pulls out too easily… just forget it and try another extension cord plug! You’re welcome. Lol Again, before getting super frustrated with the extension cord constantly coming loose from the plug (like I did with the brand new yellow one), you may want to try to find an older style or better fitting extension cord first (even if to take the trimmer to your local hardware store to try one there)! See my extension cord pics as example: Orange (narrower) = Perfect & Tight Fit! Yellow (chubbier) = Frustrating, Loose & Horrible Fit!! Lastly, my reason for purchase: Living in an apartment with a small yard has became just too ridiculous annoying every year to ‘wait’ for yard maintenance not even mowing until the weeds are almost 18″ high and allowing the clippings to just fall where they may for their tenants to just track long grass/weed clippings into our cars and apartments — I finally had ENOUGH when a thorn weed recently caught my pant leg causing me to trip and fall! With this fun to use, light and nifty little edger/mower that I can enjoy taking care of my yard weekly and all by myself… I won’t and NEVER will want such careless “yard maintenance” in or around my yard (or vehicle) again now anyway! I’m not done yet but just after mowing the whole yard once & quickly edging to ‘test’ it today, my yard already looks way better than it ever has before! I’m HAPPY and very pleased with this fun little B&D trimmer/mower being my new ‘toy’! The only reason I’m not including pics of the results with its use on my yard today is due to some privacy concerns but it already looks GREAT! Yet, I hope my lengthy review helps answer some of the questions that I had prior to my having to purchase it to find out for myself anyway. I’m sure glad I did though! I don’t enjoy raking so to prevent that, I will just be sure to mow weekly through the growing season because I CAN and will enjoy doing so, too. It was easy to put together–screw on the safety guard to the weed-whacker, snap the extra handle on the weed-whacker, adjust the height of the wheels on the mower body/deck, and place the weed-whacker in the mower body./deck Super simple, but I recommend checking out videos online that review this mower and show how to set it up. This mower is very light weight–13.9 pounds, according to the Black and Decker website, where you can find all the specs and other information on this model. None of my extension cords fit the recessed plug on this mower. A search of the reviews led me to purchase, here on Amazon, Woods 50ft Outdoor (2-pronged) extension cord (16 gauge, 13 A, temp range -40F to 167F). Works great! Highly recommend this Black and Decker mower, as well as Woods extension cord.

Customer Review: I live in Phoenix on an acre parcel and most of it is in desert landscape. Therefore no formal lawn to mow. Yaaa. However when it rains here the weeds grow, well like weeds. Fast and furious. This year we had lots of rain and lots of weeds. I’ve been running a battery powered weed eater every day for a week or so. My back is aching from twisting sideways back and forth so it was time to look for a better solution. I figured how about a small battery powered lawn mower and then I found this thing at about half the cost. So figuring I’d probably junk it after a couple tries I decided to give it a try. Really glad I did. Soon as it arrived I put it together and out I went. It had just rained again and everything was wet but I had to try it. Worked perfectly. Knocked down and chewed up everything I ran it over and no extra back pain as a bonus. I charged up the batteries( comes with 2) overnight and set out to do a good cleanup the next day. This thing is a real delight. It runs about 20 minutes on each battery and since the batteries are fairly small you can carry the spare one in your pocket. another thing about the batteries is the way they eject from the tool. Push the button on the battery and it pops out of the tool’s battery compartment. I mention this because removing the battery from my other “green” weed eater is a real chore You have to push in 2 tabs, one on each side of the battery, and forcibly pull it from the tool. My wife can’t even manage doing it and I barely can, often resorting to prying it loose with a screwdriver while pushing the tabs with both hands. The black and decker baterries just eject with 1 hand by pushing the button, I love it. When you get close to a fence or wall and the platform won’t get close enough, the weed wacker removes from the deck instantly by stepping on a lever on the deck and lifting the handle of the weed wacker forward and up. To return it back in the deck reverse the process, simple and easy. Keep in mind this is a regular string trimmer. It is not a bladed lawn mower and does not do the job of a bladed lawn mower It is a string trimmer on wheels. because you push it similar to vacuming a carpet , front and back, front and back, instead of constantly twisting sideways it doesn’t put the strain on your arms and back liike a regular string trimmer does. It does not mulch as fine as a mower would and if you have tall weeds or grass as I did you will need to make several passes, as you would with any string trimmer except you don’t have to hold it up, just push it back and forth. I have not had to replace the line yet so I cannot comment on that, except to say looking at it, it looks like the exact same process as the other 2 trimmers I have. To clear the bottom of the deck I simply remove the trimmer and wash out the deck with a hose. its been coated with wet grass almost every time I finish. I’m sure dry shorter vegetation will cut much easier. I’m cutting damp weeds and bermuda grass about knee high. The deck is light weight plastic but seems durable enough. If the deck should deteriorate and I have to replace it, the replacement cost of the set is about the same as a different manufacture’s string trimmer alone. but I’ll worry about that if it happens. so far I have no regrets whatsoever.

Customer Review: At the outset, I’m only giving a 4 star rating because I’ve just received it today, and have only used it once for a quick trial cutting of my backyard after getting one of the batteries charged. However, if it goes on as it started, I’ll probably come back at the end of the summer and up the rating to 5 stars. This is a cordless string trimmer/edger with a neat little plastic cart that you can slip the trimmer into and use to roll over your yard to cut the grass easily. The wheels are adjustable (though I have not at this point attempted to adjust the height), and the trimmer slips into and out of the cart with amazing ease. Out of the box, the only assembly is putting the guard on the bottom of the trimmer and screwing in one screw to hold the guard in place. You do need your own Phillips head screwdriver but that’s all. Then you put on the handle which pops on quite easily. It comes with two batteries and a charger. The first charge took about three hours. Once the battery was charged, I couldn’t resist giving it a try, so I inserted the battery and gave my yard a very quick mow with the trimmer in the cart, I popped the trimmer out of the cart, and was able to trim around my fence, shed, and the grass between my paving stone walkway. It worked well all around. Once finished with the trim, it was easy to replace the trimmer into the little cart, remove the battery, and put the ‘mower’ into my garden shed until the weekend. All-in-all, I can say I’m very pleased with my purchase. It’s very light, and so much easier for me to use than my heavy, cumbersome gas powered mower. And as you can see, the main word with this product is ‘ease’.

Customer Review: Works great . It’ll take some elbow grease the first time, if you’re grass is already tall. Then every week , after that ,just stay on top of cutting the grass, and it’ll be easier to maintain . It’s not that quiet, imo, I was expecting quieter . I think I’ll spray some oil, or I may try Evinrude engine tuner and spray the contact points to see if I can get it a little quieter. Blades are sharp , and cuts the grass very well. Edit: you have to adjust the four chrome flathead screws in the back and that moves the one long blade that sits in the back/bottom, . It’ll move it far back enough to where the metal blades are no longer touching and it’s completely quiet. I adjusted mine so they touch but not too much. And it is a lot quieter. I feel like having them not touching wasn’t cutting the grass as nice. Maybe just personal opinion.

Customer Review: Alrighty – It is a push reel mower – It is powered by your legs! So no complaning now that you actually have to push it. 1. Assembly – Okay I get it the instructions stink! – But come on people there is only like 3 bolts and a Lock washer to put on. Look at the pictures it is quite straight forward. 2. Height Adjustments – The wheels will come on the highest setting and I am not sure why they decided to do this as most people that buy a reel mower want to cut their grass low. – It will not go as low as a typical putting green but it will come close. Perhaps a green that is about ready to be mowed at 0.5″ while a fresh cut putting green is closer to 0.25″. – There are three slots on the mower for the wheels to connect to. As I said it comes on the highest setting (which is the lowest hole) Think of it this way if you lower the wheels you raise the mower to you want them on the highest hole for the bolt. In order to remove the wheels, you first need to remove the green hub caps on each side to expose the Nuts. The outside nuts on the wheels are 13mm and the inside bolts at 17mm so you will need one of each to remove and re-attach. Take care not to slip off the gears inside Might fell off but was not too hard to reset and attach back on. The Second way to change the height are the roller wheels – These some on the medium height setting. And with the wheels set to the lowest cut setting (position A in the directions) this is about 0.75″ – move the roller adjustment to the top bolt hole on the mower for the lowest setting to get the 0.5″ cut height. 3. Cut – It nice a clean like a sissor compared to the suction and rip from a standard lawn mower today. If you are trying to cut more than 30% off the blades of grass you will likely need multiple passes. 4. Ease of use – okay this is going to depend on what type of shape you are in and what you lawn is like when you start using it. The SHORTER you want the lawn the MORE OFTEN you will need to mow. Don’t complain that it is hard to get you 2″ grass to cut down to 0.5″ you are asking too much of any mower and that would be cutting off 75% of the grass (which is bad for the grass) – you should strive for 30% at most. Therefore if you desire a 0.5″ cut, then you should be cutting grass that is no longer than about .75″ and since grass grows about 0.1 inch a day you would need to mow it every 2-3 days – most golf courses mow their greens every day. 5. Other Thoughts – My lawn is very mature and as such has a great deal of thatch near the soil. I am going to either rent of buy a dethatcher to clean a lot of this up. I am thinking that will allow the mower to cut lower with more ease. I will update my results on the review. Over all – It is what you are paying for – it is a manual drive reel mower that you push. The more out of shape you are and your lawn is the more work it is going to be. Once you get the lawn trained to grow low it will get easier. I have a section of lawn that I cut at the lowest setting on the traditional mower and that section this reel mower cut very well. Look for an update in a few weeks when I will add some Picts and video how to’s.

Customer Review: Updated 9/4/24 PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS UPDATE IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THIS LAWN MOWER!!! this update may sound a little “ranty”, because I guess it is… I still love this lawn mower. It still works it’s little heart out. BUT…. I’m very dissatisfied with the manufacturer and disappointed with Amazon. As with most products the manufacturer evidently did not put a quality blade on this lawn mower. I’ve used it about 6-8 times and the blade is failing to cut all the grass in one pass. I’m having to go back and re-mow patches. So, on 9/2/24 I researched a new blade and found out it very difficult to find a blade with the correct OEM number. So I reached out to Amazon. I chatted with a woman who, because she couldn’t find a blade either, told me that she was going to refund the purchase price but that I did NOT have to return the mower. AWESOME, Right? Well, then I began getting notification about returning the mower. Again I contacted who I thought was Amazon. The man I spoke to was rude and told me that the woman I chatted with that morning was wrong. They would not refund me the purchase price until I returned the mower. I explained that I did NOT want to return the mower and that I was just wanted a new blade. He told me the best that he could do was to refund me 3 months of my prime membership for my inconvenience and that he would cancel the return. Fast forward to 9/4/24; I’m still getting messages to return the mower and there’s no refund on my account. So I contact Amazon again. I’m told by the Amazon rep that on Monday I was chatting with and talking to Litheli not Amazon. After being transferred to 4 different people at Amazon, I was told that Amazon could not help me and that I’d have to go through the manufacturer. I was told that I did not purchase the mower from Amazon. That I purchased it through a “third party”. Funny, the Amazon page says “purchased by Amazon” and “shipped by Amazon”???? I asked the last woman that I spoke to how to file a complaint with Amazon… She didn’t know!?!? Long story short… Even though it’s an awesome lawn mower, the service/support from both the manufacturer AND Amazon sucks!!! I don’t often leave reviews because I’m not often terribly impressed with my purchase. They’re pretty typical for I would expect. However, this little lawnmower deserves a review. I’ve had gas lawnmowers all my life. But 61 now and disabled. I’m no longer able to maneuver even a self propelled lawn mower. Nor an I strong enough anymore to pull the start cord hard enough to get my mower running. So…I looked into electric mowers despite having always been told that they won’t cut the grass unless it’s really short and you have a very small yard. I’ve also been told that their battery life is so poor that you’ll have to charge the battery several times to cut your entire yard.. So, during prime days I looked and found this little lawn mower. When it arrived, rather quickly I might add, I took it out of the box and thought, “oh my gosh! It looks like a child toy” I thought about sending it back before even trying it because something that small could never mow my lawn. But I gave it a try anyway. Needless to say, this little lawn mower is AMAZING! Is it small? Yes, it is. But boy, it REALLY does a great job! And it’s SO easy to maneuver, clean and store. I can literally pick it up and put it in the shed! The battery is amazing as well. See the pics of my yard. It’s NOT small. I only mowed half of it so far too show how tall the grass was, and I still have 1/2 of a charge. If I were to give this little mower anything less than 5 stars, it would be due to the fact that the collection bag is very too and fills up quickly if your grass is tall. But I won’t give it less than 5 stars because the small size is very easy for me to manage. It’s not too heavy even when it’s full. So the moral of my story is… Give it a shot. You may just find that it’s amazing too. Especially if you are older and/or have difficulties with mobility.

Customer Review: I bought this mower not knowing exactly what to expect based on some of the reviews. I’m glad I purchased it. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, and it was super easy to put together. Just as a reference, I’m in my late 40s and not in great shape and I have no issues using this. It’s not loud like a gas mower and cuts well. It will cut off if your grass is too high, so make sure to adjust the height to lessen that. It’s easy to start. I have a pretty big back yard and my grass is high and very thick at this point. It cuts with no problem. I just had to tilt the mower up to cut and then maybe go back over the area again. However, I would have had to do that with a gas mower as well because of the height and thickness of my grass. Battery life is about what is stated on the description. I could probably get the whole front yard cut on one full charge because it has been recently mowed and isn’t as large as my back yard. I may be able to do the back yard done on one charge as well since it won’t be as tough to mow. I guess I will see next time. It was a great value for the money and I look forward to continued use. I will probably end up purchasing another battery so I don’t have to stop mowing the back yard. Hope this is helpful.
