Customer Review: I put this together (frankly, it’s in a lot of pieces and requires more assembly than it should) and I used silicone faucet cartridge assembly type grease on all the seals and assembly points. It has not leaked a drop. The plastics are not great quality, so do yourself a favor and use the silicone grease, any hardware store has it.It is very sensitive, and has a wide arc/range- you don’t have to be anywhere near the front to trigger it. I think it’s 80 degrees or so. When it fires, it will splatter you even if you are behind it. Because it apparently needs to sense both heat and movement, such as with a moving critter, it does not fire with waving branches on a breezy day, and that’s very good- my yard is full of things that move in the wind. The intact Tom cat who has drenched my pool screens with foul-smelling pee nightly for months (as well as screaming and howling at 3am routinely right outside my bedroom window) got a face full of water and hit my wooden fence scrambling to escape with enough force that it sounded like an adult person climbing over. He made one more attempt the next night with similar results. I left it up a week and now set it only periodically just in case. The cat has not been back, nor am I hearing the howling in nearby yards, so I assume he was sufficiently impressed to choose new territory.Make sure your hose is durable – cracking the tap just a little does NOT limit pressure, only flow. If your house has high pressure such as mine (pool pressure) buy a reducer. A burst hose at 1am that you don’t find for 8 hours will lose a lot of water. Having the tap on less than full will reduce what you lose if it bursts, but again, simple physics dictate that it won’t reduce the pressure and make a burst hose less likely. Make sure the tap is on enough that you get a good strong and long firing- you want distance since the sensor will pick up the critter quite a ways from the unit. A good soaking is most likely to help the critter find another yard to prowl, rather than water that doesn’t reach them at all and just makes a lot of noise. If you are looking for an intact male cat to ruin your screen enclosure and wake you at 3am, I no longer have one to loan you.

Customer Review: We bought a Yard Enforcer from Amazon about three weeks ago, and have been very pleased with it.We decided to give it a try, because our little cat likes to perch on the bedroom window sill at night, and check out the side yard that is illuminated by a street light. Unfortunately, on a fairly regular basis, she had been receiving nocturnal visitors (cats, raccoons, the occasional dog) around 3:00 AM or so, resulting in her getting agitated and waking my wife up. (I know what animals have been there, based on the tracks I found in the bare dirt I’d had spread over the yard during recent landscaping, as well as a couple of opportune sightings from the other bedroom window). This had been happening about twice a week; maybe more.Since installing the Yard Enforcer three weeks ago, there has not been one single episode of any animal getting close to the window and getting our kitty stirred up. I don’t have an outdoor camera so I cannot conclusively state the Enforcer has run the visitors off, but given the fact that we’ve gone from at least two disturbances a week to absolute zero, I think the Enforcer is doing its job. (I can state with absolute certainty it has sprayed ME on those occasions when I’ve wandered too close to it when it was activated, even though I thought I was too far away / out of its 120 degree range of view. If it can detect me simply waving my hand at it from a distance 30 feet, it should be able to see a large cat at 5-6 feet.)The device is powered by four AA batteries. It has knobs to adjust the duration of the water spraying, as well as the sensitivity of the motion sensor (less sensitive for large animals like deer, more sensitive for cats and rats etc.). It also has a control knob so it can be used all the time, night only, day only, or turned completely off.It was easy to assemble, and easy to place in the yard. The only minor gripes I have is that I wish it was of brass and metal construction instead of plastic (especially the sprinkler head), but given that at most it goes off for a few seconds every night or so (or even less, once the neighborhood transient animals have been “trained” they will be sprayed), the plastic should be good enough. (I should also note that if it was made of solid brass, it would have to be much more expensive, which might make it too pricey for a lot of folks).The other concern I have is that it has only one single, relatively short, anchoring stake to push into the ground. The single stake does make it very to move the device when mowing the yard, but I would personally prefer a more stable system. To be fair, it has not moved or toppled over even after it’s sprayed water several times, but if I’d been designing it I’d have given it a better mount (longer single stake, tripod spikes that went into the ground, or maybe even a large heavy metal ring it was screwed into, like a sprinkler base). My tendency to over-engineer things notwithstanding, the Yard Enforcer does what it is supposed to do, and has completely eliminated our cat’s alarms in the wee hours of the morning. If you have deer, raccoons, dogs, cats, possums, or other animals that are causing trouble in your yard, I definitely recommend you give the Yard Enforcer a try.

Customer Review: Love this sprinkler! I havent used a lawn sprinkler in decades but I am using a lawn company now and some of the applications require watering the lawn so I had to get something. I am not at all an expert on the size of an area, so I cannot attest to the 4000 sq ft claim, but I can say that I have a HUGE front yard and I only had to move the sprinkler 3 times (actually a bit more because I had to figure out the settings and the right place in the yard but I marked 3 positions in the yard).Its super-easy to connect and use. I didnt use the quick connect accessory that it comes with because I dont have those connections on anything else – because I have never had any that didnt leak and pretty much hate them – so I cant tell you if the quick connect accessory works as it should or not. As good as the sprinkler is, I would expect that it does work.I love all the adjustments that you can make to the amount of water being sprayed and the spray area – that is actually what I like most about it. The adjustments allow you to be very intentional about where you want the water and minimizes wasting water by watering the driveway, the street, or your neighbors yard.Yes – its all plastic, but isnt most everything these days. It is lightweight and feels durable. The connection to the hose is water tight and there is no leaking anywhere within the unit. The water goes in where it should and comes out where it should. I believe that if you dont treat it like a caveman or let it sit out in the sunlight all the time when not in use, it should last about as long as you can expect a $35 appliance to last.Very happy with my purchase – highly recommend!

Customer Review: I have been using impulse sprinklers for decades. I have been setting them up in the corners of rectangular areas and moving them around to the other corners for far too long. I should have picked up one of these decades ago. This oscillating sprinkler is very easy to adjust to the shape that you need. I have the three-way adjustable model with a plastic base. You don’t need the metal base; it is stable as it is. The metal base is just an aluminum shell and not much heavier anyway. I do wish I would have picked up the one with a built-in timer. It is easy enough to set a timer on my watch, but a built-in timer would have been nice. I may buy one of those too so I can set up an area and go to bed. The spray pattern is tight enough to give very even coverage. The area covered is much larger than expected. I wasn’t sure whether or not to believe the manufacturer’s claim, but I am able to water an area over 3,000 sq ft easily.

Customer Review: Firstly this is a spray irrigation system not a drip system. Its good quality and was easy to assemble and set up in the garden. The long hose was easily able to reach everything and the length of the spray nozzles was a nice surprise to be able to reach the areas I needes. I had them all on and found the pressure was good and evenly distributed.It was easy to set up with the tubing using a simple insert and lock system. I didn’t see any leaks after set up. The simple tube holders worked good in a wooden raised bed to help keep the tube put of the way.Very good product and I’m considering ourchasing another 100ft to do the other side of the garden. Time will tell how well it holds up but its a great quality product and works well.

Customer Review: Perfect for raised beds, this flexible watering kit lets you design your system using distribution tubing, push-lock Tees, and flexible nozzle stalks that adjust the spray with a simple twist of the brass knurled collar. Just locate the 12 Tees where the water is needed and then attach them to ether a post or raised bed sides with two #4×1-1/2” wood screws. Cut your tubing and push in to lock. Then insert your distribution heads and you’re good to go. Fool-proof. Push the locking collar to release the tubing if yoj want to make a change. I love this and already ordered a second set. Note: this is NOT a drip irrigation system – it uses adjustable spray heads, not drip emitters.

I was skeptical of the reviews at first – so many positive and lower priced than a lot of others with a plethora of issues.Unboxing it wasn’t any better it looked pretty basic no major components. Customer Review: A wonderful idea to replace multiple oscillating sprinklers, several hoses an “Y” connectors. These are inexpensively made as is evidenced by having to “adjust” the bent parts and a stripped distance adjusting screw from shipping ( I assume it was shipping but may have been bent or stripped at the factory) to allow them to function. One head would not return after reaching the end of one cycle. It turned out to be the easily deformed brass mechanism that strikes the arc adjustments on the main shaft. Once adjusted, after extensive experimentation, they worked very well and have been watering our lawn every day since they arrived. I particularly like the distance adjustment to change the range from very close to almost 70’ with moderate water pressure fed from a 5/8” hose. We placed them in the corner of each yard, front and rear, controlled them with a multi zone timer and it has revived our lawn after being scorched by this summer’s heat and a bout of spot fungus.

Customer Review: I was not quite sure what I wanted in a sprinkler, but I feel like this was the best purchase I made when we reseeded our yard. We have an “L”-shaped yard, so we needed either 2 sprinkler heads or one that could cover the entire area, which would have included the roof. This is extremely easy to install, it has a quick release valve on the base that means you screw in one end to the hose, and then it can rotate as needed without flipping the sprinkler head upside-down. The quality of the item is good, it hasn’t broken yet, even though its gone a few rounds with one of the dogs having a good time. It is super easy to use and to move. Since the settings on the “length” and “width” have predefined positions, it means we could quickly switch from one side of the yard to the other without messing with the settings each time to make sure it was “just perfect”, we just remembered the settings and switched before turning the hose back on. It does a great job of “sprinkling” ensuring a fairly even distribution of water across the desired area. I would definitely recommend this sprinkler, especially if you don’t know exactly what you need.
