Customer Review: “I live in Phoenix on an acre parcel and most of it is in desert landscape. Therefore no formal lawn to mow. Yaaa. However when it rains here the weeds grow, well like weeds. Fast and furious. This year we had lots of rain and lots of weeds. I’ve been running a battery powered weed eater every day for a week or so. My back is aching from twisting sideways back and forth so it was time to look for a better solution. I figured how about a small battery powered lawn mower and then I found this thing at about half the cost. So figuring I’d probably junk it after a couple tries I decided to give it a try. Really glad I did. Soon as it arrived I put it together and out I went. It had just rained again and everything was wet but I had to try it. Worked perfectly. Knocked down and chewed up everything I ran it over and no extra back pain as a bonus. I charged up the batteries( comes with 2) overnight and set out to do a good cleanup the next day. This thing is a real delight. It runs about 20 minutes on each battery and since the batteries are fairly small you can carry the spare one in your pocket. another thing about the batteries is the way they eject from the tool. Push the button on the battery and it pops out of the tool’s battery compartment. I mention this because removing the battery from my other ‘green’ weed eater is a real chore You have to push in 2 tabs, one on each side of the battery, and forcibly pull it from the tool. My wife can’t even manage doing it and I barely can, often resorting to prying it loose with a screwdriver while pushing the tabs with both hands. The black and decker baterries just eject with 1 hand by pushing the button, I love it. When you get close to a fence or wall and the platform won’t get close enough, the weed wacker removes from the deck instantly by stepping on a lever on the deck and lifting the handle of the weed wacker forward and up. To return it back in the deck reverse the process, simple and easy. Keep in mind this is a regular string trimmer. It is not a bladed lawn mower and does not do the job of a bladed lawn mower It is a string trimmer on wheels. because you push it similar to vacuming a carpet , front and back, front and back, instead of constantly twisting sideways it doesn’t put the strain on your arms and back liike a regular string trimmer does. It does not mulch as fine as a mower would and if you have tall weeds or grass as I did you will need to make several passes, as you would with any string trimmer except you don’t have to hold it up, just push it back and forth. I have not had to replace the line yet so I cannot comment on that, except to say looking at it, it looks like the exact same process as the other 2 trimmers I have. To clear the bottom of the deck I simply remove the trimmer and wash out the deck with a hose. its been coated with wet grass almost every time I finish. I’m sure dry shorter vegetation will cut much easier. I’m cutting damp weeds and bermuda grass about knee high. The deck is light weight plastic but seems durable enough. If the deck should deteriorate and I have to replace it, the replacement cost of the set is about the same as a different manufacture’s string trimmer alone. but I’ll worry about that if it happens. so far I have no regrets whatsoever.”

Customer Review: “At the outset, I’m only giving a 4 star rating because I’ve just received it today, and have only used it once for a quick trial cutting of my backyard after getting one of the batteries charged. However, if it goes on as it started, I’ll probably come back at the end of the summer and up the rating to 5 stars. This is a cordless string trimmer/edger with a neat little plastic cart that you can slip the trimmer into and use to roll over your yard to cut the grass easily. The wheels are adjustable (though I have not at this point attempted to adjust the height), and the trimmer slips into and out of the cart with amazing ease. Out of the box, the only assembly is putting the guard on the bottom of the trimmer and screwing in one screw to hold the guard in place. You do need your own Phillips head screwdriver but that’s all. Then you put on the handle which pops on quite easily. It comes with two batteries and a charger. The first charge took about three hours. Once the battery was charged, I couldn’t resist giving it a try, so I inserted the battery and gave my yard a very quick mow with the trimmer in the cart, I popped the trimmer out of the cart, and was able to trim around my fence, shed, and the grass between my paving stone walkway. It worked well all around. Once finished with the trim, it was easy to replace the trimmer into the little cart, remove the battery, and put the ‘mower’ into my garden shed until the weekend. All-in-all, I can say I’m very pleased with my purchase. It’s very light, and so much easier for me to use than my heavy, cumbersome gas powered mower. And as you can see, the main word with this product is ‘ease’.”

I know nothing about lawn mowers so figuring what adjusts the height and even runs it was a challenge. My neighbor put the battery in and mowed the swale which is all the grass I have. I’m almost 72 in good health, fit, I can lift a 50 pound cement bag, that kinda stuff. I didn’t want to smell gas fumes. Yes it will take me longer using an electric mower but I also wanted the grass clippings picked up. More of a manicure lawn look. Customer Review: “I don’t write many reviews. I have to be either really disappointed or really love something. This mower rocks! Yes, it is small with plastic wheels, but it’s mighty. It goes through the grass like butter. I have a zero turn as I have a few acres, but it was broken, and I was waiting on a part. I bought this to hold me over so I could at least mow the backyard for the dogs. I didn’t want to spend the money on a gas mower or a battery mower. Besides, I don’t have any faith in the battery mowers to do what I needed, certainly not on a single charge. This is lightweight, no problem pushing, and now I use it in place of a weed whacker. Zero turns are great for going around trees, not so much in corners. No more having to drag the weed whacker out to make several passes to cut down the fenced corners and around my garden area where the zero turn can’t fit. (52″ deck) Honestly, I wish I had bought this sooner. I would much rather push this around than swing a weed whacker back and forth. This mower is significantly faster and produces a more consistent cut than weed whacking where the zero turn doesn’t fit.”

The setup was extremely easy. Less than 20 minutes and it is up and running. The handles are very easy to setup with the turn knobs. The batteries came pre-charged (one was 4 bar/full, and the other 3 bar). Very easy to startup. The lawnmower is very light weight and easy to carry. Very fast and powerful, but yet electric! The batteries are side specific! Takes a good 2 hours to recharge the battery, but only takes about 2 bars to mow the front lawn. Another 2 bars for the back. The battery can last up to 40 minutes! It was easy for the corners of my lawn but would do poorly for covering more area. With this new upgrade the grass is cut much quicker and with less work for me to worry about. This lawnmower has a large storage area. Its big capacity makes sure I don’t need to have an extra hassle of emptying it in the middle of the work. The handles are a good height so there’s no need to bend over in an uncomfortable position. The wheels move smoothly across the grass. It’s not too bad bumpy and easy steering wise as well. The power is strong and it lasts a while. There was no need for charging in the middle of mowing. Customer Review: “In the summer, I have a man who comes around to do my lawn once a week with a big riding mower, but he generally folds up at the end of September. Sometimes the grass continues to grow, and always the leaves come down. I got the Litheli 40V (2 x 20V) 16″ Electric Lawn Mower as a lightweight filler to cover the October/November time frame. Here are some hints (that others have mentioned), roughly in the order that you will need them:1. It comes in a big box marked ‘Heavy’. It’s not, really. It’s just extremely bulky and awkward. There’s no cutouts for handles.2. It is easy to assemble, which is good because the instruction booklet is pretty useless. It’s mostly a parts list, and it doesn’t list all of them. Basically the only assembly you do is put on the handles.3. There’s a pair of sockets under the front hood for the batteries. That’s where they put the packet of screws and such to assemble the handles. The instruction booklet doesn’t mention this.4. It comes with the mulching panel in place at the bottom rear of the mower. If you want to use the grass catcher you have to remove this panel. Also not in the manual.5. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The noise isn’t much over that of an energetic hair dryer.6. It doesn’t have enough power to cut thick/wet grass unless you start at the highest cut setting and make several successively lower cuts.7. It doesn’t do well with leaf pickup, unless they are totally dry, and even then you need a low cut setting.8. The batteries run down fast and charge slow, unless you buy the optional extra charging station. As delivered, the batteries are at 3/4 charge. Bringing one battery up from 75% to 100% using a standard USB charger took 13 hours. Using the charging station took about 15 minutes.9. The catch basket is on the small side, which is to be expected since the width of cut is only 16″. I had to stop and empty it every 60ft or so.10. Emptying the bag is easy, just lift the safety cover and pull straight up.Overall, it’s an excellent machine, fully worth the price.”
