The copper thermal conductivity rating is around 104 W/m-K which is about 33 times better than any thermal mastic, not to mention that the contact surface area is a thousand times greater for the transference of the cold temperature as well. Altogether, this is the best solution to communicate the cold temperature from the cold plate to the refrigerator box unit.
